Based on my research, I estimate that Dmitry Chaplin has an estimated 2023 net worth of roughly $2.94 Million and an estimated annual salary of $142 Thousand.
Dmitry Chaplin is a Russian-born dancer who rose to fame as a contestant on the second season of the reality talent competition So You Think You Can Dance. Born on July 14, 1982 in Rostov-on-Don, Russia, Chaplin moved to Minnetonka, Minnesota with his family at the age of nine. After graduating from high school, he briefly attended Brooklyn College in New York before making the move to Los Angeles to pursue a career in dance.
In 2006, Chaplin and his dance partner, Heidi Groskreutz, became finalists in the United States National Amateur Dancesport Championships. This success led to Chaplin being cast on the second season of So You Think You Can Dance, where he quickly became a fan favorite due to his often shirtless appearances. He also went on to perform (as the professional partner of amateur competitors) on several seasons of Dancing with the Stars, and in 2009, he earned an Emmy Award nomination for choreography.
In the ninth season of Dancing with the Stars, Chaplin and his partner, vocalist Mya, came in second place. Throughout his career, Chaplin has been coached by Dutch dancer and choreographer Louis van Amstel. He currently resides in Los Angeles, and continues to pursue a career in dance.
