Bryson DeChambeau is an American professional golfer born September 16, 1993, in Modesto, California, and best known for being the fifth player in history to win the NCAA title followed by the U.S. Amateur Championship in the same year. After he graduated high school in 2012, DeChambeau was offered a scholarship to play at Southern Methodist University in Texas, where he majored in Physics. Three years later is when he would go on to win the NCAA individual championship and U.S. Amateur and join only the likes of Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, and Ryan Moore in that accomplishment. Following a successful appearance at the Master, DeChambeau turned pro in 2016, and after several strong performances earned his PGA Tour card in 2017. That same year DeChambeau won for the first time as a professional at the John Deere Classic, and since then has won six times on Tour.
